Crispy Trader Joe’s Dumplings with Chili Crunch are one of my favorite quick lunches or easy dinners. Steamed pork dumplings are topped with gyoza sauce, Japanese BBQ sauce, Kewpie mayo, chili crunch, crispy onions, and fresh chives for a simple 15-minute meal that’s full of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Trader Joe's Pork Dumplings
  • 2 tbsp Bachan’s Original Japanese BBQ Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Trader Joe’s Gyoza Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Kewpie Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Trader Joe’s Chili Crunch
  • 6 tbsp J-Basket Crispy Fried Onions
  • 1 tbsp Fresh chives chopped

Instructions

  • Prepare the Trader Joe’s Pork Dumplings according to the package directions (10 minutes). I prefer steaming them for the best texture.
  • Arrange the cooked dumplings on a plate or shallow bowl.
  • Drizzle with Trader Joe’s Gyoza Sauce and Bachan’s Japanese BBQ Sauce.
  • Add a light drizzle of Kewpie mayonnaise over the dumplings.
  • Sprinkle with Trader Joe’s Chili Crunch, crispy fried onions, and fresh chopped chives.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

This is one of my favorite 15-minute lunches or easy dinners when I want something quick but still really flavorful. These dumplings pair perfectly with Bibigo white rice or Taylor Farms Asian Chopped Salad to make it a more complete meal. You can also adjust the sauces and toppings to your taste depending on how spicy or saucy you like them. Add more chili crunch if you like heat, or extra Kewpie mayo for a creamier finish. And don't stress about the Trader Joe's items—you can find similar items at just about any grocery store :)
